June 11, 2021 – Nashville, TN) – Singer/Songwriter Alayna just released her emotional new ballad, “Steady.” The perfectly crafted enchanting single blends an unforgettable melody with powerful, heartfelt, and relatable lyrics to take listeners on a personal and sentimental journey. In this song, Alayna reflects on her relationship with the love of her life as she prepares for her walk down the aisle. “Steady,” co-written with Donna King, Joe Slyzelia and produced by Grammy award-winning musician Nate Cornell (For King and Country), features Alayna’s signature sound and soaring vocals paired with her sweet and whimsical harmonies. It makes for a record that is destined to become a classic for years to come. Listen here.

“I wrote ‘Steady’ with my dear friends Donna King and Joe Slyzelia. It was written for Adam, my fiance at the time, who has been my best friend and rock, and who I married on May 22. I am very excited for the world to hear this song in which I share my innermost feelings.” Alayna added.

The corresponding music video, which premieres on Alayna’s YouTube channel on Friday, June 11 at noon CST is especially significant. It was filmed on her wedding day and included actual clips from her wedding ceremony and reception. “The process of filming the “Steady” music video on my wedding day was so much fun. I had to arrive earlier than everyone else and camera-ready so that I would have time to film. It was a scorching day, but we could get the shots we wanted to make for a magical piece and one that we can look back on and enjoy for years to come. I loved working with Spark Weddings and their team,” commented Alayna. Watch it here.

Alayna and her husband Adam were married during an intimate church ceremony on May 22 in Nashville, surrounded by family and close friends.

Alayna is currently working on new music, writing new songs, and putting her unique spin on covers she plans to release later this year. In fact, she just released her own version of the cover “Desperado” via an acoustic video on Country Rebel’s (the world’s largest country music network) Facebook page, which has exceeded 93k views in a little over a week.

About Alayna

About Alayna left her home town of Butler, Pennsylvania, in the summer of 2011 with nothing but a few necessities and her favourite guitar to pursue a career in music. A few years later, she was writing with award-winning songwriters, playing Music City’s most prestigious venues, including the world-famous Bluebird Café, Nissan Stadium, The Listening Room.

Classically trained in piano from age 7, Alayna always loved music, but it wasn’t always Country. She grew up listening to Jewel, Brandy, LeAnn Rimes, Sheryl Crow. Now, she’s mixing those childhood influences of Pop/Rock melodies with the honesty of Country lyrics, bringing a new flavour to the table. Alayna wrote her first song at 12, but it wasn’t until a few years later that she recognized her newfound talent and began to nurture it. During this time, Alayna taught herself to play the guitar and kept up with regular piano lessons.

Alayna currently has over 1 million YouTube views and nineteen independent cuts to her credit. She has played many prominent conventions and festivals, including CMA Music Fest, Christmas 4 Kids Bus Tour, Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival, National Cornbread Festival, Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival, Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival, Sunbelt AG, and the Tennessee State Fair.
