Guestpost – Lucy Bullock
A remarkable singer, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist at just seventeen years old, she is ready to burst onto the pop music scene. Her new EP is a collection of songs written from her heart and soul.
Singles like “You’ll Find Out”, and “Mistake” give her fans a clear sense of her style and the creative passion that pours out from her music. Her wide vocal range and sound have been compared to Sara Bareilles, Kelly Clarkson, Natasha Bedingfield and Tori Kelly. Just back from Nashville, Lucy has jumped into the business with both feet. She continues to write and produce her unique brand of pop music.
Born in Chicago, Lucy Bullock has been performing since the age of 4. A lengthy musical theatre background gave her the confidence and stage presence she shows off today.
Her unique and powerful singing voice always stood out, never following the traditional path of most young singers. At just ten years old, a Broadway casting director said at a callback, “Whatever it is you’re doing, keep doing it.” A founding member of the band Six on Friday at age 12, Lucy’s been the lead singer playing at bars and summer festivals ever since. SoF has been regarded as one of the premier teen bands in the Chicagoland area. Their fans come from all over to hear her sing and watch her on stage.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and shut down all live entertainment, Lucy did not let it hold her back. She started a YouTube channel of solo covers and was quickly noticed by several talent scouts. Since launching her solo career and her new EP, she is only beginning to turn heads in the music industry.
