About WDNG: 

WDNG was first discovered we she played at Nye Toner in Bremen in Copenhagen in 2012, shortly after the release of her debut EP ‘Away, Away, Away. Since then, she has released two highly acclaimed albums, “Where Did Nora Go” in 2013 and “Shimmer” in 2014, both released on German labels and most recently the critically acclaimed EP ‘Womb of Life’ in 2019 produced by Brian Batz. She has achieved airplay in UK, DE, NZ, AUS, AU, CH, USA, ao.


The charismatic singer has been compared to Antony Hegarty, Björk, Ane Brun and Kate Bush and was nominated by GAFFA in 2014 and 2019 as respectively. ‘Danish Female Artist of the Year’, ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Pop Release of the Year’. 

WDNG creates Dreamy Art Pop with the addition of ambient sound collages, layers of cellos, voices, synths and piano. Live she has teamed up with synth wizard Christian Balvig, also known from Efterklang, ShyShyShy, When Saints Go Machine, Copenhagen Phil. m.fl… She has been praised for her voice, which possesses a rare beauty, power and fervour, and with her music, she creates a very special space that draws the listener out of time and space and “into a dreamy, almost ethereal world.” TERRORVERLAG
