A year after going into lockdown and things will never go back the same as they were. In the last year, everyone thoughts have changed; the whole world has a different meaning. Mental health matters if you are struggling; reach out and do not feel ashamed.

We need to keep talking and raising awareness about Mental Health. Your mental health should be your priority. Never feel guilty for making decisions about your life and putting your self first. You need to walk away from anything or anyone who is stressing you out and if this means cutting off certain friends and family members, then do it.

Just because someone seems like they are coping and are on social media looking happy and lifting others doesn’t mean behind closed doors, that they are not struggling with their own mental health.

The last 12 month have been extremely challenging for everyone around the world. We need more awareness of groups we can engage in in times of crisis. We need to keep putting up contact numbers for people to call and talk too in times of need.

Not everyone has the right family or friends around them, and not everyone can open up and talk about their feeling easily as they feel ashamed and alone. I don’t know how many times I have to say this to people, but just because you don’t look sad or you see someone with all their make up on and hair done doesn’t mean they are not struggling. has now been going for a year, and I aim to keep getting people to share their mental health stories from all around the world. You never know by sharing just one story on how this can help another person out there to not feel alone and get them on the road to getting professional help.
