Artist – Weller
Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with music. I’ve always dreamt that one day I could potentially make music for a living and make a difference in people lives just as individual musicians have made a difference in mine.
I was always listening to music when I was a child, but my real passion for music started when I was around 13 years old when my brother introduced me to Slipknot. I was utterly blown away as I had never heard anything like this before and was intrigued by the meaning of it all and sucked in by the passion of these musicians.
This led to me digging deeper and deeper into rock and metal music to the point where I have a music collection of almost 12000 songs among a small portion of other genres.
Over the years, I have been influenced by the likes of LINKIN PARK, Slipknot, a day to remember, neck deep, bring me the horizon, avenged sevenfold and Eminem. I really could go on all day, but they are the ones that stick out for me.
Growing up, I have suffered very badly from anxiety and depression, and I still suffer to this day. I feel too many people suffer from this. I started writing down my feelings in forms of rhymes to get out the way that I felt; I remember someone telling me that it helped them express themselves so I thought I’d give it a go.
This is where my songwriting began. Before I knew it, I had dozens, even hundreds of songs down but had no means to bring them to life until I met up with Bob Cranham who made it all possible for me.
I want to raise awareness for people who feel like this and let them know that they are not alone; my latest release loneliness is a true reflection of how I’ve felt in the past. I only write about the truth; nothing is fake.
Everything is a story of my experiences, and I have so much more to give. I hope to reach people on a global scale, and I’m willing to do anything and everything I can to make this possible.
I want people to know they are not alone. I want to make a difference in people’s lives, and I want to make a difference on my own.
