A vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of ones’ dreams and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation and to use the law of attraction to attain goals. I have got a vision wall instead of a board, all you need is that blank canvas.

Choose what images you are interested in think about your goals. Your vision is what you want it to be. Below is a few ideas:

Health goals

Career goals

Learning goals

Where you want to live goals

Overcoming goals

De-cluttering goals

The idea behind this is that when you surround yourself with images of your ideal life and who you want to become, where you want to live, your life can change to match those images and those desires through the power of visualisation.

I started saving up all these different images in my phone of what I like and then set about printing them off, I found an app called, and you get 45 free prints every month. All you have to do is pay for postage.

My vision board must get read over and over daily, and my works for me; it is a daily visual reminder of my dreams and goals. The reason why a vision boards work so great is that you can visually see them every day.

Visualisation is one of the most popular and effective mind workouts that you can do. So get creating a sacred space that shows all your goals and brings it to life. Your vision board should focus on how you want to feel, not just on things you want.

Don’t get me wrong its great to add on your board the material stuff too but remember how you want to feel as that will make it work more for you. As you get more focused, you can grow your vision board as you go along and I am sure you will make many changes along the way as have I had.

Your vision board should help you become more creative, gives you more motivation, give you a better focus and builds up your self-confidence the list of positives outweigh the negatives. The Hollywood actor, Will Smith, once said, “in my mind, I’ve always been an A-list Hollywood superstar, Y’all just didn’t know about it yet.” Will often visualised himself as a successful A-list superstar, and today, he is living the dream and Katy Perry, the singer,

did an interview in 2009 describing her vision board and look where she is now.

Even if you take small positive steps in changing your future starting here will be the beginning of your journey to a more positive lifestyle. Keep your vision board neat as you don’t want to attract chaos into your life.

Use only the words and images that best represent your purpose, your ideal future, and words that inspire positive emotions in you. Vision boards not only serve to align us with our goals and desires, but they help keep us positive and focused.

We can begin to create our reality using this powerful manifestation tool. So dream big and focus on success, use the present tense, infuse it with passion and make it inspiring. Once you have got your vision board all set, we would love to see them here at positive lifestyle so tag us on twitter or Instagram with your boards.
